BETA READING
With extensive knowledge of gay romance tropes, trends, and reader interest, we’ll look at your manuscript with the eyes of an experienced reader.

A standard beta read includes storyline and character analysis, attention to timeline issues and plot holes, dialogue, romance, tension, and steam.
​
An in-depth beta includes all of the above plus extensive feedback and light line editing. This is not true line editing, but a pointed watch for overused words and phrases, notes on sentence structure and grammar, and pointers on writing style.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING
Your manuscript is evaluated as a whole, including character development, structure, consistency, pacing, writing style and more. May include an editorial memo with suggestions (e.g. problem areas, possible reorganizing and/or additions).
Editing
Helping your work look its best.
Rate varies from $5-8 per thousand words depending on the condition of your manuscript.
COPY EDITING
Includes checking for spelling, grammar, and punctuation as well as inconsistencies in tense or POV, sentence structure issues, missing or duplicated words, and misused words (the dreaded homophone). We will also check for awkward/overused words and phrases and suggest alternatives to smooth them out while still maintaining your style.
Proofreading
Most effective if completed after editing.
Standard proof, $3 per thousand words.
Final pass, $1 per thousand words.
STANDARD
A thorough read-through of your edited manuscript checking for spelling, grammar, punctuation, tense inconsistencies, missing, duplicated and/or misused words, repeaters, and sentence structure issues.
FINAL PASS
Giving you peace of mind before you hit publish, the final pass will watch for typos and errors that may have snuck through editing (editors are human too).
Formatting
Digital and print available, single books, boxed sets, and anthologies.
$30-60 depending on length.
Using Vellum software, your manuscript will be made to shine as a real, live book. Digital formats available for all retailers, including paperback.
Styled to your preference, from standard, text-only, to more complex with images at chapter headings and page breaks, and a quick turnaround guaranteed.
Service includes two (2) updates to fix anything that slipped past the editor or update links. Additional updates upon request for just $5.

Character & Series Bibles
Helping you keep track of the little details.
Starting at $100 per book
A detailed spreadsheet of your characters and world, going beyond simple stats.
Includes, but is not limited to, information on settings, indigenous flora and fauna, character temperament, physical appearance, and favorites, pets, vehicles, family history, abilities etc. Your main characters will each have their own tabs for easy access.
All named and mentioned characters will be listed, timelines will be identified, and anything else you'd like to keep track of can be included.
